I just found out through my NE friend, Tony C., that Paul Kaiser passed away today. He was an integral part of organized senior softball in the Syracuse, NY area. His fiestiness and will to win, created a lot of good competitve games among us teams in the NE. Not to say that he legal background did a nice contribution to the efforts. When I was in Manassas, Va. this past August, I saw many of players and friends that were associated at one time or another with the Syracuse Merchants and Paul Kaiser. Had I never met Paul, I would have lost out in meeting such a nice person and never would have met many other friends. IT has been said many times over that, at our age, there is more to the game of softball than just winning. I think that we all need to keep that in our minds when we play. My condolences and prayers goes out to his family. He will be dearly missed......larry
