Oct. 7 LM181281 1 posts | PLAYER REGISTRATION IF MY CARD SAYS 2013 SEASON, WILL IT NEED TO BE RENEWED TO PLAY IN THE FLORIDA TOURNAMENT IN NOVEMBER 2013? PLEASE ADVISE. THANKS. |
Oct. 7 Duke Men's 65 908 posts | r The card is a yearly card, so you are able to play in November without renewing. Any tournament beginning January 1, you have to have a current registration. This is how it has been in the past and I have not heard anything different to present. Andy Smith, 55/60 Major |
Oct. 7 southernson 280 posts | r I thought the SSUSA tournament year began in November so that would require a 2014 card..... |
Oct. 7 Duke Men's 65 908 posts | r The new season does begin after the Vegas Worlds, but your card runs January to December. I used to play in November, and I did not have to renew till January. If that has changed, I am not aware of that. Andy Smith, 55/60 Major |

Oct. 7 cw Men's 65 79 posts | r All new cards now expire 10/31/xx. You'll have to at least submit/pay your renewal to play in Florida. SSUSA will have you on record even if you do not receive your card by the time of the Fort Myers tournament. I went through this exact situation a couple of years ago. ( I think that's why they changed it :-) ) |

Oct. 8 Duke Men's 65 908 posts | r cw, You are correct. I checked on the SSUSA website, and player cards expire October 31. Not sure how long it has been this way, but it is this way now. Most likely, a new card may not be received by the time of the next tournament, but it will be in the SSUSA system. You can apply over the phone with a credit card, or you can bring your completed registration form and money to the tournament and submit upon check-in. Andy Smith, 50/60 Major |
