THIS WILL BE LONG. Last wk, the 60 MAJOR winner in LVSSA, used 4-6 MAJOR PLUS players. These players r so well knowned & several wear the same number on both teams. It's hard to believe. These MAJOR PLUS players, won 4 WORLDS this yr. A player is locked on a team. Players can not play one wk 4 one team & the next wk 4 a different team, NOT in the SSWC WORLDS!! RB, have fun w/ this one.
J. Riley, winner of SPA, last yr in MAJOR'S; Handeland Flooring 55 (Riley's), a MAJOR PLUS team, did u take 2nd in SEATTLE? This wkend, Michael's, r u not the same team or teams? WHY? U r a group of men that had @ least 3 players from SEATTLE play' on a AAA team. Yer left hand pitcher, # 50; yer white haired power hitter, # 12, & that short O.F. How many MAJOR PLUS, PLAYERS DID U USE in Vegas?
A Wis. team stated that u were a M+ team!! A Tx team, stated that u had several players that were in Seattle!! A team out of Az, stated the same thing!! 2 players from Vegas, different age group, stated the same thing!! Michael's, was using several MAJOR PLUS, players. M+, players can only play on a MAJOR PLUS team & not a (AAA) TEAM.
I wonder what RB, Ridge, & Bill, will do about this & several other matters.
THIS IS ONLY PART OF THE CRAP, that has been going on this past 2 wkends in the LVSSA WORLD.

Stoneman: I started JAH Masters in 03 & played Major & Major + thru 04; I had to turn in a National Frozen Roster to the associations that I planned to play in by June 15th. I went to the tourneys many times short of players just to find that other teams had combined to some degree. I agree somewhere there has got to be a system that will identify players; maybe a CD of all players seems like a real easy thing to put together. When you try to field a team w/the same roster it is discouraging to go & find that you seem to be the only one going by the rules.
Hope something changes.

JOHN::: Thanks 4 yer reply. I talked to several of our LVSSA board members & Jim, w/ SSWC. At the end of our event, our board will discuss sending to SS-USA, ISA, ISSA, & SPA, the list of all MAJOR PLUS teams. These players list will have the names of all M+, players.
We will also, try & get the SUMMIT, to get others to send names of M+ players, to all other WORLD's DIRECTORS. I.E.: Settle sends to Vegas, Vegas, sends to SS-USA; & then SS-USA, will sent to the rest, & so on...

Thanks ... The STONEMAN.......

Page Nine of the Senior Softball News: Manager’s Handbook for 2007
“Q: I didn’t have a single tournament in which my entire team played, but they all played in at least one qualifier with me. Can they all play on my team at the championships?
No. We rate teams, not players. Teams qualify for championships, not players. If one roster plays at one tournament & a different roster plays at another, the combined roster has not qualified. In other words, the combined roster of a team may be significantly stronger than the incomplete rosters that it used to qualify, thus negating the purpose of the qualifiers.”

Seems this is suppose to be more strictly addressed in 07'.

I suggested this to the SPA & others that require ID cards; any renewals should be stamped AA, AAA, Major or Major+; cards already in use can be permanently marked at the first qualifier. Thus when you check in, it is on your card your classification status.

I think BruceinGa brought up a good point a few weeks back; it was something like this: if a Major + player cannot play on a AAA team because of the danger issue, why do they play against the AAA teams in round robins?

Hope I got that right

Stoney, I just copied and pasted this right from the LVSSA Masters rules page. Is this being interpreted wrong? I'm not contradicting you, just want to know. What does the "Play Down" rule mean?
