May 14, 2014 19jim 1 posts | RESULTS Way can't the results of tournaments be updated in a more timely manner. The amount of fees paid the SSUSA should pay for someone with a smidgen of computer knowledge. Senior Games in St. George have results almost realtime. It's May 14 and still no results from LV a month ago. Get with the times. |
May 14, 2014 etch Men's 60 17 posts | Would it be possible to take a quality photo of each divisions bracket board at the end of a tournament? Posting those pics to a neutral site might cure the hunger pains for us softball news hounds... Etch #11 NorCal Stixx 65 |
May 15, 2014 Corky Men's 55 451 posts | Not sure what tournament your talkin about but at the Brickyard in Indy, they were updated on the computor before we got out of the parking lot...thks Dave and Nancy |
May 15, 2014 stattad Men's 65 235 posts | It all depends on where Dave is. He went from Vegas straight to Indy, so Indy got updated first. |
May 15, 2014 DaveDowell Men's 70 4318 posts | Corky ... It was a "perfect storm" this time (and NOT the kind we have become accustomed to at Indy!) ... I was on-site at a single-facility tournament, meaning I didn't have to rely on called in scores or raw data sheets from other locations ... I had an outstanding co-director in Nancy Keaton (thanks again, Nancy!) to free up some time for data entry ... And I was in the Eastern time zone with my body-clock screaming "Pacific Time!" every night, so I stayed up later than normal ... That allowed me to stay out front a bit ... Right now Reno is the top priority, then I'll get to the Southwest scores ... Also, was good to see you again this year at the tourney! ... |
