What Bat?
League just went to a 44 core ball is my new Freak 52A the best bat for that ball?

I'd start looking for that answer at where ever you can find who actually tested and certified that bat for which ever assn your concerned about.
But which ever ball (s) make it there is always the user in real life situations that actually ply with it in games and not a machine that takes the swings.
First off It's the user not the ball or bat. they are accomplices as it were for collateral damage or performance.
Don't know the Freak 52 but did use a Bal Freak DST I have, but it's got 9 cracks in it.

That is a pretty hot bat for those balls. I have bought 7 of them for players in our league since I got mine and they all love them.

The only work of caution is like all of the new ASA only bats they are made for the 52/300 ball and it could shorten it's life. As of now I haven't heard of the new bats cracking with the 44's but just something to be aware of.
