Posted | Discussion |
Oct. 30 STONEMAN Men's 50 535 posts | This weekend, 3 had the TRIPLE CROWN, out of Colo.', in town. Most teams in the 'C' division were going to a 5 man infield. I talked to several teams. (( from Cal, Conn, Co, & a few players from Tx.)) Almost everyone stated, that most 'C' teams & above had 2 to 4 ILLEGAL BATS. BUT, none of these players would admit to having an ILLEGAL BAT, on their team. As I watched some games w/ some of these young men, several of these players would point to a person, that "was using an ILLEGAL BAT." I asked a question, why, r so many players using an ILLEGAL BAT? THEIR ANSWER:::: 1) The ball will go thru the infield faster. 2) If, one miss hits the ball, there would be a better chance, to get a hit! 3) If, the ball was hit @ an infielder, the ball had a better chance to cause an error, or hit thru an infielder.
