Anyone on this board headed for this tournament this weekend? If so, look me up. I'm #12 for the Dallas Spurs.

Hot Springs is a neat little town for those of you who haven't been there. I especially like the format of this tournament. Our 55+bracket has 8 teams and we'll play a complete round robin, guaranteeing everyone 7 games. Seems like a lot of tournaments used to be like this, but most have switched to a more limited format (probably to reduce costs).

We are headed to the Hot Springs tournament. From St. Louis area. New 55+ team. Hopefully we get new shirts with numbers before Friday. Would like to meet some of the players that respond to these messages. Lots of good information.

Monte,

Good Luck in Hot Springs. I think you'll enjoy the folks there.

I'm a little bummed out right now. About thirty minutes after my previous post, I found out our team had to pull out. Four injuries and two lost interest and it's still early in the season.

Last I heard, there were two other Texas teams going in the 55+ division plus two from KC and I think two Hot Springs/Little Rock area teams.

Be careful, the Hot Springs bunch is pretty salty. They won the SPA AA last year. Good guys!
