milwaukee tournament
don't think i will go back and play in this tournament..absolutely terrible scheduling for out of state teams(if you were from wisconsin you had very good game times)..only 1 major team in 60's and having to wait 4 hours between our last game on sunday, which at the time we were 4-0, was ridiculous.. we choose not to sit around and wait at the park to play it, and everybody knows what it is like on your body after playing 2 games in am then sitting that long is not much fun..all the aches and pains set in. why such long wait between games mr. director?...

45 minute games, 5 inning games were not popular, either.

My team is 55AAA. The scheduling & format leave a lot to be desired. We had some 45 minute games with very long waits in between, and with the round robin format most teams were out of contention on Saturday. Ours came down to a 1-run loss in the 3rd game Saturday, but we stuck around for 2 games Sunday to finish 2nd. They stuck a 55 major team in our division (instead of putting them with 50M) and that team didn't stick around for Sunday. The local team that won our division might not return next year because of the lousy format, and we might not either.

That would be a shame, because other than the Elgin tourney in early August the Milwaukee "Classic" is closest to home. I wish the SSUSA office would work with the tournament organizers to make some improvements, including posting the teams & schedule in the SSUSA web site.

On a side note, thanks to the EMT instructor and Dave Christiansen and those who pitched in that I have no memory of!
