What constitutes a players eligibility for playing in one of these tournaments if criteria is different and or was on a team that was actually playing in one of them. Even if not finishing in the top. Teams list players to fill slots sometimes they play elsewhere however.
Many factors need to be addressed. Did player actually play or just listed on a roster. Can he play (in a TOC) even if the team did not place #1, say for instance in one of the other tournaments? I'm sure there are alot more to consider.
I personally do not feel someone who was just on a roster weather played or not and the team did not win, should not be allowed to play here. But at the same time realize teams will not be able to get many of the players and too, may not want some of them to go anyway, to another tournament with them.
I'd love to go to one of those, but the teams I played for did not win, came close but it's not a hand grenade type of a tournament, I hope.
Need some sort of a clearer explanation on eligibility if possible, thank you. Perhaps I'm not alone.

I see that this may be falling upon deaf ears and or blind eyes, or that it's the Holidays and no one is "working".

Maybe you should send an email to the staff or the tournament director. It could be that they didn't see your post.

Not seeing post may be true. On sending to a TD, I do not see a point in it because I thought these are all SSUSA tourneys. I for one, would think there should be some definate continuity between all of them. Or should be.
We already have too many different definitions for many rules, one being "altered". From cones to tape. The others speak for them selves.
Perhaps the "summit" should add something to their agenda.

Agreed. The penalty for a shaved or painted bat should me much greater that too much tape or a Knob Cuff.

The Summit Conference should be opened to all interested parties.

Personally, I think the tape and knob is for comfort nothing else. Some players just like a thick (er) handle, Hands my be big or for whatever. Same with the knob. I like it because it fits in between the palm and the little finger and has actually kept me from letting go of a bat that slips away because of the space or loose fit. Rare, agreed, but it works for me.
As for the others, I agree.
