Mizuno Techfire Softball Bats
As an avid user of the Mizuno Fury, I was disappointed to receive this message from Mizuno: "All four of the bats we currently have in our line are being discontinued......They are being discontinued to protect the legality of the bats through certain sanctioning organizations."
I guess I'll be in the market for a new bat again.

The Techfire line is being discontinued as a result of the ASA anouncement regarding grandfather the 04 bats. By discontinuing the Techfire line all the bats currently in the market will remian legal going forward under the Grandfather clause. I strongly suspect the Fury, Crush etc will simply undergo a name change for 05.

Davey: I hope your right. I have probably hit over 600 balls with my older Fury and it has no waves or dings. I have never had this kind of durability with any other model.
