Would be nice when accessing an individual that is shown to be "online now", would at least have his/her "Details for" filled out instead of totally blank when accessing the name. Would allow someone to at least see what area/location they are either talking about, questioning, etc.

Secrecy is respected but showing basic details of your location would be welcomed. Just an observation!

Showing your name, city & state and the classification you are playing, would be helpful especially if that person is asking for assistance, a team to play for or availability to be picked up for a tourney.

I see 58 anonymous right now. I love the ones looking for a team, but leave no email or phone number. One guy I tracked down left no info, but he mentioned where he plays at and went to their website, and I located someone who knew him and got his number.

I've got 109 anonymous.

Again as an observation, there should be no "anonymous" on this site and "all" members should have their Name, City/State and Playing Level displaying when they are "online". Again, just an observation!

Whether or not to disclose their real name, location and/or age level is a personal decision of the individual when they set up their posting account ... None of it is required information, although it would be nice to know on occasion ...

As for the number of "anonymous" at any given time, there is no valid information or data to be drawn from that number ... For example, Sparky1, if you are just looking at the Message Board and have NOT signed in to comment, you will be in that "anonymous" count even though your information is visible as soon as you log in ... Conversely, if a manager is logged in and working on his roster for example, and nowhere near the Message Board, his username will show up as one the identified members online ... We suspect the vast majority of those types, managers only who don't frequent the Message Board, probably don't have any reason to ID themselves to themselves!

Thanks for the response Staff and I completely agree. As a "Sponsor" however, it would be nice to at least have a player's info displayed but that being said, I have never been turned down by the SSUSA Staff whenever I am requesting any contact info. This as I mentioned, was just an observation and in no way, meant to be negative or questioning any member of SSUSA.

No problem Sparky1, no offense noticed or taken! ... There is a former poster from years back who provided a series of rambling rants about the absolute need to ID, as though it was required to authenticate the legitimacy of the posters' comments ... We have never felt that way, believing instead that the content and tone of the post was all that was relevant ... We also believe that forcing posters to ID, or to have a valid SSUSA player card, or any number of other potential hurdles to clear before posting would be somewhat arbitrary and would inhibit the free exchange of information and ideas ... We have (only) four very simple posting rules, and they appear to serve this forum quite well ... Thanks!

If they don't leave any personal information, either they don't have a clue or they don't want to play that bad. Simple as that.
