| April 19 lewbo 2 posts | I am one month after my surgery and recovery PT is going well. At some point I will be in an ACL brace and doctor says I will probably wear it when I return to playing ball. What has been others experience with playing after and what type of brace do you wear if any? |
| April 20 Fabe Men's 65 457 posts | Had a full reconstruct done to my left knee...I rehabed hard, even let my wife bend my heel to my buttocks to regain the flex I had! That was painful....in 8 months I was using a sleeve on my knee n playing ball at 80%. I still surf winter waves, train n if course play softball without any restrictions. In fact surfed all morning today n had a playoff game against really fast young guns! Train hard n push, follow the advice given by your experts n the results will amaze you! Aloha, Fabe |
| April 20 BruceinGa Men's 70 3233 posts | I had ACL reconstruction 3 or 4 years ago. I couldn't play ball for about 8 months. I wore a Donjoy brace. I did 6 weeks of pt before surgery and then after surgery. I'm playing again and my legs feel better than ever. Good luck! |
