| March 9 SSUSA Staff 3505 posts | Due to the late withdrawal of a 60-Major Plus team over dissatisfaction with their Tournament schedule, significant revisions were required to the Men's 50's, 55's and 60's Division Brackets for the Winter World Championships in Palm Springs. Please note that (except for the 60-Gold Division) NO CHANGES were made to the Round Robin portion of the Friday schedule. The changes affect ONLY the Saturday and Sunday Bracket schedules as follows - 50-AAA - Bracket game time changes for Saturday ONLY. No changes to Sunday schedule. 50-AA - Changes to Saturday Bracket game times and location change (to Thousand Palms Park) and game time changes for Sunday games. 55-Major+ - Bracket game time changes for BOTH Saturday and Sunday. 55-Major - Bracket game time changes for Saturday ONLY. No changes to Sunday schedule. 55-AAA - Bracket now begins on Saturday morning instead of Friday evening. Complete re-do for Saturday games. No changes to Sunday schedule. 55-AA - Game times and location change (to Thousand Palms Park) for Best 2 of 3 Championship Series. 60-Gold - Complete re-do for Division. Changes to game times for Friday morning Round Robin. BLFD game times Friday afternoon unchanged, but match-ups change. New 4-team Bracket with all games at DeMuth Park and beginning Saturday morning. Sunday afternoon finish. 60-AAA - Game times change for Friday evening start to Bracket (from 6:30 PM to 5:30 PM). Bracket game time changes for Saturday ONLY. No changes to Sunday schedule. Revisions to the affected schedules have been posted and are available from the links on the Home Page. The Master Fields and Games Grid has also been changed accordingly. We regret any inconvenience this late withdrawal has caused. Good luck to all! |

| March 12 SSUSA Staff 3505 posts | Due to the late withdrawal of a 50-Silver team due to a death in the family, revisions were made to the Men's 50-Silver, 55-AAA and 60-AAA Divisiona. The changes were relatively simple, as follows - 50-Silver - A few Round Robin games on Friday were changed to absorb the withdrawing team's schedule. No teams play earlier than they had originally been scheduled. The Bracket was modified from 9 to 8 teams. 55-AAA - Changes to the Saturday (ONLY) Bracket games. 60-AAA - Field assignment changes (ONLY) to the last two games of the Saturday Bracket games. All of the revisions have been posted to the Web Site ... Good luck to all! |
