Aug. 23 Dugout5 Men's 40 3 posts | New to the Board, Looking for a 40+ team in the Philly area No sure what’s around or what my opinions are but wanted to put some feelers out. Met a guy at the Grand Slam cages that told me about this message board ( thanks Ed). I’m 43 and live in Chester County PA. I mostly pitch for my competitive men’s team but play some 1B,2B and 3B when we are short guys. I can hold my own with the Young bucks but would love to play with some guys my own age. Any info would be greatly appriceated. |

We've had some pretty good luck in the Mid-Atlantic / North Atlantic area in the past few seasons. If you're a facebook / instagram / twitter user, go ahead and follow the 40softball pages. Tim |

Now, it looks like they might be older, but the old guys are often a wealth of softball information and may know of a place that plays your age group. You didn't say, but if you are thinking about tournament play, you can look under Ratings above and select 40+ Men. You can touch State to sort that column for easier reading. You can play with teams also that touch your state. I hope this helps. If you have other questions, just ask. There are many folks on here that like to help. It's fun to play with kids your own age. |
Aug. 23 Nancy Allen Men's 55 1438 posts | New to the Board, Looking for a 40+ team in the Philly area Tim, you beat me to the Post button. I thought about you, but since he didn't say league or tournament, I thought about the tools that we have as a start. Dugout5, Tim is an excellent resource and plays as well. |

Not quite what I’m used to from the other message boards I’m on. Tim, sent you and email and followed 40softball on IG. I’m pretty excited now....kinda feel like a kid again! |

I’m up for anything as far as league or tourney. Looking forward to seeing where this road takes me. I think I’ll be on here quite a bit learning the ropes! |

He got me involved with this 21 years ago. Right now 40s is one of the fastest growing divisions. There are great people that want you to play. I wish you good luck. If there is anything that I can do to help, please let me know. |
