Yes, its only a week and half away. People need to make plans for flights. this is ridiculous.

What's even worse since I have friends who played last week in the 55's it was a bad experience. 4 days and some teams were out Friday. I have a flight back on Monday so if we happen to get put out on Friday I have to sit there until Monday. Ridiculous more money spent and time lost from work and families. 4 days for a tournament is to long and not even USSSA the biggest association has 4 day events. I enjoy playing in Vegas but increasing the days is just not good for us working class people.

Seeding game schedules (first) and Brackets (a bit later) will post to this website within 15 minutes of being completed and passing final technical review ... There is no way to precisely predict when that may be, but rest assured we have NO incentive to delay their release ... If they are on this Message Board and the event Tournament Page, they are done ... If not, they aren't ... Thanks for your patience ...

Jevanse33 - I don’t understand the problem. You are going to play on Thursday and if you play well you will play on Sunday. I’m pretty sure you are going to fly in on Wednesday (or sooner) and as has been stated many, many times you might play late Sunday afternoon. What else do you want SSUSA to do. They can’t anticipate when your team is going to be done. I assume you are planning on being in the championship game so plan accordingly.

SKings24 - Your team must be in great shape! Last year in the 50 majors there were 49 teams playing in 3 days. This year, if my count is correct there are 51. If your team should lose their first bracket game you could play somewhere around a total of 15 games. Last year you would have had to play those in 3 days. This year you get 4 days. The only way you play a lot fewer games is to not lose. Good luck! Hit the gym!

SKings24, you are correct about this tournament taking 4 days to play. It was ridiculous and completely unnecessary. Some teams played one game on Friday and if they won were done for the day. Personally I’d rather play more games and be done in three days.

I did hear about a major plus team losing Friday afternoon, and where done for the tournament..they had to eat the cost of the hotel room and pay more money to change tickets. Personally 4 days in Vegas in one day to many for me.

I think in the case of 50+ Major+ there is 11 teams and the 55+ Major + had 12 teams. I think they should be looking at a 3 day tourney just like the 55+ Major+ had. I know things can change, but that is what we are doing. Finding something that can relate in the number of teams and going by it. I want to surprise my wife with a wedding vow renewal, but I'm holding off until the schedules come out. Time is ticking though.

Swamprat11 ... It's highly likely the 50-Major+ (11 teams) and the 50-AA (6) Divisions will have "Championship Saturday" ... It's an absolute certainty the 50-Major (52) and 50-AAA (70) will go all four days ... Good luck on the ball fields and the personal item! ...
