Possibly moving to Tallahassee, FL
Although retired, my wife (bless her heart) continues to be employed and is looking into accepting a position in Tallahassee, FL. I currently play on several teams in and around the San Diego, CA, area and also am on the Top Gun 65's travel team. We go to various tournaments in the West Coast area. I would like to know what opportunities are available in the Tallahassee area. p.s. I normally play shortstop, good average, good power (for a 65).

You are very lucky. The Florida Half Century has an excellent program, and they play a tournament every month. Any of their contacts could get you in touch with the right person about other games/leagues in the area. Their web site is http://www.floridassa.com/fhc/. We travel down there every winter to get our spring training in. Good luck, and if you need help hooking up with someone, please let me know. I just wish that we could play all winter too.

Ron, Welcome to Florida, Depending on what side of Tallahassee you live (East or West) you may want to try the Pensacola area for senior teams. The Pensacola 65's are rated as a major plus team. Pensacola is 2.5 hours away from downtown Tallahassee. The hanging down part of Florida will be much further, however they do have plently of teams/leagues.
