| Feb. 7 TarHeel Men's 75 2 posts | I'll be 78 in April and I have been playing for the Austin Merchants 70's for the past 8 years ( Formerly Hill Contracting). I'm strictly an infield player, usually 2nd base or middle infielder but can also play 3rd base. I can still run bases although both knees were replaced several years ago. I'm a team player with 30+ years of managing and playing. I have only missed three tournaments in 8 years and 2 of those were due to colon cancer surgery and chemo treatments that followed. I actually took a chemo treatment on Monday and played a tournament in College Station on Thursday and Friday! I take batting practice with some local (Georgetown) players two or three times a week. I'm a line drive hitter and my BA last season, with the Merchants, was around .650. I can make someone a good team player! |

| March 15 Kirbyl 6 posts | are team's home base is in Medford Oregon but we have players from all over Oregon and Northern California all of our games are in Oregon and we play 25 games each season five are played each tournament and we have five tournaments starting in May through Aug. Kirby |
| Sept. 30 Alan3 9 posts | How about joining the Island Sharks, a good 75 Triple A team for the Ft. Meyers Florida November 5-7 tournament. We had 15 players until last week and then 3 guys went down for the count. You would probably be a perfect fit for our team. We have 4 guys from New York, 9 from Florida and one from Michigan.
