In a rain shorten tourney, Indiana Legends-- Major 55's, were awarded the first place in a controvesial decision over the Indiana Classics 50 AAA, both teams were unbeaten, The Classics were penilized after the TD called a game after 7 innings in Pool play while the game was still tied,(in 40 years of playing never played in a game that ended in a tied game ?) said they did not want to play all day and they had to keep the games moving along, so when the rains came in the DE that hurt the Classics, the two teams were meeting in the finals of winners bracket when the rain washed the tourney out , So here is the actual finish as I see it

50's
1.-Indiana Classics
2. Kalamazoo Warroirs, Michigan
3. Brickyard Bombers

55's
1. Indiana legends Major 55's
2. Chicago Classics Grey
3, Chicago Blue Chips

I would not recommend this tourney, nice fields ,but thats about it,I will not be in it again.

Well Rabbit get ready, i just heard they are going to let 55major teams move down to AAA if they move down an age group and some 55 majors will be competing in Columbus as 50AAA this weekend. I know you have a hotline to Ridge so I would appreciate any info you might have. Can't seem to find anything on the SPA sight, its pretty useless to find any info there. CYA

Hi Corky, the TD has already told me that, he said the games will not count againest the 50's and they will end up playing each other in the finals, they are Schones Chrio-out of Ohio and a team from Cincinnati,Ohio a team I had not heard of, which means they are loaded. The TD will make sure they do not count, knowing Dwain the TD as i do, Ridge has probably already approved it, One thing about Coulmbus SPA, they do follow theSPA rules closer then most TD's. I have already got our schedule and we are not playing any of them, we are playing 4 pool games by request, there are 7 50 AAA teams emtered, Indiana Classics, the OG'S, O'Skool and Zepplin, all out of Louisville,Ky, Brickyard Bombers-Indy, Chicago Classics Blue, and Chicago Prime , should be a good tourney. Corky, one more thing, the SPA site is worthless and I have told them that, they should fold it up, and make room for other things on the Web, I can not get anyone to post anything or really get much of a answer, except for Layla ,she will answer sometimes, but she has a hard time getting a nswer herself, This board is getting as bad, everyone looks but the same ones pos, and no ones hardly answer anything, this is what a message board is for. take care, see you Saturday, Rabbit

Hi again Corky, I just got back from playing in the Shelbyville league I play in on Mondays and one of the TD's for this weekends tourney was there, he gave me a sheet and it goes like this, in the 50's AAA there are 5 teams, Indiana Classics, Chicago classics Blue, Brickyard , OG'S and OL Skool, then they dropped the two 50 AA teams Chicago prime, and Zeppelin and combined them with the two 55 AA teams, the Indy Fog and Webbs Auto Center/legends to form the AA division and in the 55 Major division, you will have Indiana Legends/Dixson Softball,Indianapolis,In---, Jim & Joes /Williams Food Service,Louisville,Ky------- Schone's 55's ,Columbus,Ohio----- Star Drywall- Louisville,Ky, the old Metro Stars when they played in the 50's, It suppose to be in the 90's all weekend, should still eb a good tourney . I will post the results on Sunday night, see you there, Rabbit
