July 31 Parman Men's 65 41 posts | I find it interesting that the TOC in Rogers Ark 2 weeks ago had nearly 10 LESS teams than a simple qualifier going on in Shawnee KS (basically KC) this weekend. Not sure exactly what it is saying, but it is definitely saying something. |
July 31 DaveDowell Men's 70 4323 posts | Maybe that the locals get pretty good treatment and non-locals maybe don't? ... No reason to over-think this ... |
Aug. 2 Parman Men's 65 41 posts | Or perhaps it was because that several teams from northern states like Iowa, Nebraska and Minnesota participated,? |
Aug. 2 creins 54 posts | Let the past go Dave and move on to what the players of the Midwest want. It is sad they treated you badly, but it is a new owners now and Randy wants to give you a proposal. Please listen to it. Thanks in advance. Talked to umpires about Rogers and they said the fields were horrible and they spent so much time working on them. 2 of them were nothing but mud the whole time we were there. The Mid America complex has 4 turf fields now and the other 6 are all much better than the 6 in Rogers. |
Aug. 3 DaveDowell Men's 70 4323 posts | Parman and creins ... You seem to have misunderstood my comments in this regard ... I have no preference recommendation on a specific site for the Midwest event (which is somewhat different from your apparent subjective desires) ... However, I have a strong aversion to SSUSA getting burned again following reasonable reliance ... As the old saying goes: "..Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.." ... I'm ALL IN for what's mutually beneficial to the greatest number of interested parties ... |
