Sept. 17 DaveDowell Men's 70 4323 posts | 50 Major & 55 Major Junior2412 ... Yes you may, for both of your questions (as Dbax indicated) ... You must be otherwise eligible as to age and residency for both teams AND the 55+ team may not have more than the maximum allowed three (3) "out of rating" players on their roster if they add you ... |
Sept. 17 Junior2412 18 posts | 50 Major & 55 Major Dave, Can you explain what you mean by no more than 3 "out of rating" players? Thank u. |
Sept. 17 DaveDowell Men's 70 4323 posts | 50 Major & 55 Major The "Rating Index" for a 50-Major team is R/I=8 ... The R/I for a 55-Major team is R/I=7 ... Any lesser rating index team (in this case the 55's) is allowed to have a maximum of three (3) players from the next higher rating level ... In your example, your 55's (R/I=7) team may not have any more than three 50-Major (R/I=8) guys like you, who we refer to as "out-of-rating" players ... If any remaining questions, please call the SSUSA Home Office at (916) 326.5303 during 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM in the Pacific time zone and ask to speak with an eligibility person ... They will be able to help ... Good luck! ... |
