We are scheduled to open against Handleland this Friday in the USSSA Sr. Nats in the 55 Major Plus division. Does anyone know who they are?

Handeland Flooring out of Wisconsin. Seen them around a few times over the years. Always looked solid top to bottom of the line up.

Hi Bruce, it was good to see you in Boaz last weekend, if you remember right i told you about my combat, well they are taking care of it, either going to fix it ,or send me a new one,I sent it back today, it is a great bat even after the plug came out, we just pounded it back in, and never missed a lick.

But back to the post, where is the U-Trip being held at this year? any idea on how many teams?

ps-give us a report on how it is ran ,weather it is worth going to next year,

They have a rep in the midwest as being highly competitive over the years. They have won some nationals and reload each year. I have not seen them this year, but I would guess you will have to pay attention for 7 innings.

Thanks for the info guys!
Rabbit, I'm glad they are taking care of your bat. There are 4 teams in the 55 Major Plus, MTC, Conn. Sportsplex, Hollis and Handleland. I didn't check out the rest. You can go to wiusssa.com for the complete list. They have our div listed as 60 major plus!
The tournament is in Brookfield, Wi, a suburb of Milwaukee.

Bruce is one of the best players I have ever seen play the game. So because he and his teammates are so good they like to play against the best. Going to a world tournament to play against the best is one of the best ways to prove how good you are, to get better and to enjoy playing against, with, and around the friends you have made in the game.

You see G19 in order to understand why we play in these worlds or any senior tournament that just has a few teams you first have to go and experience the tournaments. If you did you would find that each tournament has it own unique and wonderful experiences. This is like anything else in life you can either watch it, read about it or do it. The first two do not compare to the last one. Playing in local leagues and tournament do not compare to the experience of a World tournament no matter how many teams are in your bracket. Try it a couple of times and then if you don't like then spread you hate and discontent towards senior softball as it stands now. But at least try it first.
