Batter hits ball down 3rd base line. Ball stops in foul territory with about half inch of the ball sphere over the clearly marked foul line. The ball does not appear to be touching the foul line, but about one half inch of the ball is over the foul line. Fair or foul?

FOUL BALL • You defined it in foul territory and further defined that the ball was not touching the fair/foul line ...

If any part of the ball is touching the line it is fair, even if the center of the ball is in foul territory. Just saw that on you tube, the ball was in foul territory, but the out edge was hanging over the line.
