Texas Legends are moving to 65's for the 2023 season. We will need to add some AAA/Major players to fill the team roster (looking for infielders and outfielders). We play in 10-11 tournaments a year... In 2020 we won Worlds as a 60AA team, finished 5th at Worlds in 2021 and in the top 15 out of 45 in 2022 as a 60AAA team. We play local Texas tournaments and travel to 4-5 out of state tournaments. Must be able & willing to travel. We may have a sponsor to cover entry fees for the 2023 season. If interested contact Joe (jjylda@sbcglobal.net)

Joe, you can play all the positions. Just kidding. I am going to play one more year at 60 AAA, and then plan to move up next year. If the Thunder 60 doesn't move up for 2024, then I might be knocking on your door. Al

I am a 65Major outfielder. My current team won Phoenix Winter Worlds 65AAA division last year (19 team bracket) but don't have enough healthy players to go back this year. I'm a scrappy leadoff type hitter; was named to the Phoenix all-tournament team. I love to run the bases for myself and as a courtesy runner, and sliding into 2nd or 3rd is routine for me. I live in Iowa but I fly to Houston, TX once a month. If you'd be interested in me, I don't know if my Iowa residency would be a problem that could be overcome or not.

Goff, do you realize that to play at that level you must live in a bordering state?

Dbax, SSUSA approved the "out of Region" player rule beginning with the 2021 season. This allows most teams to add 2 "Out of Region" players to their roster if they reside on the same side of the Mississippi River. The rule excludes the five "player rich states" (CA, AZ, NV, OR, and HI).

§13.1(3)A.2. • All men’s 40+ to 70+ teams, EXCEPT teams from California, Arizona, Hawaii, Nevada and Oregon, may also draw up to two players from states on the same side of the Mississippi River as the home state/province of the team.

§13.1(3)D.3. • The Canadian provinces east of Manitoba are merged and known as the Eastern Canada region. The Canadian provinces west of Ontario are merged and known as the Western Canada region. These regions may draw players from their U.S. bordering states, but may not draw players from the other Canada region. (See also §13.1(3)A.2.)

I knew that, but thought it was only in effect during the pandemic. My bad.

Calling on outstanding Texas Thunder players to join The Legends 65. Once again you can be young, be foolish, be happy. Forget your past enmity with the Legends, play your age, have fun again and be winners! Count me in Joe, CRASH.
