| Aug. 6 Jerry35 3 posts | Just moved to Indianapolis, IN area and want to join a team. My age is 71 and have played shortstop for the NVSS team in Northern Va. for the past 8 years. Could someone direct me to contacts in this area. Miss my softball greatly! I can be reached on 317-219-5881. |
| Aug. 6 Nancy Allen Men's 55 1438 posts | Jerry, I left you a message. The senior leagues in Indy are played at Midwest Sports Complex on Tuesdays starting at 5:30. I know at least one of the 65 teams will not be there tomorrow because they will be at the tournament in Elgin. Shelbyville has a league on Mondays at Kennedy Park with some of the Silver Foxes 70 team playing. Columbus, Indiana also has some older teams in their leagues. Some of these teams travel, and others play local. If you get up to Midwest, just ask for Nancy, and I would be glad to introduce you to some of the gentlemen players. |
