| Aug. 10 the wood Men's 65 1123 posts | Cowboy Bill: My parents were married before my birth so I was ineligible to play for Campbell's Carpets. I did, however, play against them many times... they were a Nor Cal team. although most of their players were from elsewhere. We were a So Cal team... plus a couple of Phoenix guys. I take it that you played back then, too. Funny thing, I have a brother named 'Cowboy Bill'. He was the ring bearer for my parents' wedding. :-) BW |

Don't know if anyone wants to add any further information for Bill but this post could be fun for those who know Woody to throw their 2 cents in. He certainly wouldn't hesitate to jump all over this if it was about someone else. I've known him for 25 years. Played with him and against him. I would throw this out.
