| Aug. 20 doker Men's 60 185 posts | How can this organization maintain some order when you change a Teams Ranking in the middle of August???? THE AUSTIN A'S A BRAND NEW TEAM..THAT HAS PLAYED IN ONLY FOUR TOURNEYS EVER...MOST MEMBERS HAVE NEVER PLAYED IN A SENIOR SOFTBALL SANCTIONED TOURNAMENT IN THEIR LIVES...HOW CAN YOU RANK US AAA AFTER WE SUBMITTED A REVIEW FORM AND GOT RANKED AA...IN LATE JUNE????? ALL WE ASK IS TO BE COMPETITIVE AT THE NATIONALS AND WE WON'T BE AT AAA....WE HAVE NO HOMERUN HITTERS..EVEN IN THE LIGHT AIR IN RENO AND THE WIND BLOWING OUT WE HIT NONE.....IN THE FOUR TOURNEYS WE HAVE ENTERED WE HAVE WON NOT EVEN ONE!!!!THE TWO TOURNAMENTS IN TEXAS WE PLAYED HAD ONLY THREE 60'S TEMS IN THEM AND BOTH WERE WON BY A AAA TEAM...THAT HIT MUTIPLE HOMERUNS IN DOING SO....IN HOT SPRINGS WE WERE RUN RULED BY THE AAA TEAMS.....IN RENO WE BEAT THE WINNER 'LAST CALL' IN THE PRELIM GAMES BY 5 RUNS AND LOST TO THEM IN THE TOURNEY BY 8...AND THEY ARE RANKED AA RIGHT NOW ...MRS DOWELL..MR HENNESSEY....HOW CAN U RANK THE AUSTIN'A'S AAA...WE HAVE ALREADY BOUGHT AIRLINE TICKETS TO ATTEND THE NATIONALS BUT WE ARE REALLY DISAPOINTED WITH THE ORGANIZATION FOR RERANKING US AAA...WHEN WE ABSOLUTELY DON'T HAVE ONE AAA PLAYER ON THE TEAM...THE CLOSEST PLAYER PERHAPS IS MYSELF WHO PLAYED ON A 50'S TEAM OUT OF FLORIDA MANY YEARS AGO...BUT THIS TEAM HAS NONE.....VERY DISAPOINTED....DOKER37 |
| Aug. 20 taits Men's 65 4548 posts | With two on this subject from the same team, I'm sure should bring a responce, you both are writing about the same thing, there should be some validity. I hope your not placed there as a sacrificial lamb (team) just to fill a slot. That would be even worse. If you (mgr) uses the process, from what I see and others will as well, I'm sure you this will be corrected. Unless, however there is some thing somewhere we do not know, that they are taking into account. But to be rated AA in June and then again AAA in Aug, just doesn't, on the outside of the box, look so good. Also, I don't think the caps will help. but, I sort of, don't balme you. I'd be pissed too. |

| Aug. 27 taits Men's 65 4548 posts | Perhaps it's one way to bring in another team, right or wrong, into that bracket to get another team in. IE: now thew have 4 teams instead of only 3. ??? Kinda like having a tournament schedule set up at the beginning f the year and then change it about a week before the scheduled one. It Sucks |
