Had the talk with 2 BOD's in Manteca. Both stated that all bats need to have the BPF 1.20 stamp, no exception.
If that could be implamented, I don't think there would be a problem.
Came across a few other guys that had the bat there as well.
Perhaps doing what Demarini did** years back would work, if the bat would meet that standard. Even if it was only for specific weights I think it would help alot of guys out.
**Demarini issued (mailed out) ASA stickers to put on their bats to those who bought their bats and had a valid receipt. They did verify them.
Also mentioned web site, Bob has total control over it, which I personally think hinders the assn, but what do I know. Dictators are still alive & well in the US.
