| Aug. 25 STONEMAN Men's 50 535 posts | Most teams, pay their own way(s) to an event. I wonder how, many teams would go to an event & that tourney had no teams to play? WOULD U RETURN?? If, u r runn' a tourney, what would u do. Refund entry fees; refund flights; refund motels? NO... Please, remember, that most teams will buy their flight tickets & motels, 2 or months in advance. ( COULD the ANSWER be, BUY INSURANCE 4 the extra $ 5 or $ 10?) In some cases, teams find out that their r no 55, or 60 teams in their division. So, these teams may, come in 1 week earlier & play in the 50's or 55's. Or the T.D., is forced to let the older Division play in a younger age group or down 1 division ( in their proper age group ). AGAIN, what is FAIR to teams & T.D's , that have this sad situtation ??????? NO ONE, wants teams to go & not play. What comes around, will go around. What do u SENIORS want? What if, some of u SENIORS, go to an event & there is no teams in ur division??? Again, what would u do, if, u were the T.D.? I do not understand a lot of the past post. What is wrong w/ a team play' down in age group? If, I were a 50 Major Team, I would welcome the chance to beat a 55 Major Plus Team! or a 60 team, etc?? I believe that it would be fair, 4 the older age group to get their 5 games in. Think about it. Cost of ROOMS, FLIGHTS, ETC. I DO NOT believe that many TEAMS WILL EVER GO BACK, if, their team did not get their 5 games.) But, 50 teams should not have to play 4 the Tourney Title w/ a 55 team. Same thing 4 a 55 team, 60, 65 teams, etc. It also appears, that most older age groups can beat younger teams, when the older team plays down from Majors to AAA. (Major Plus, is about 40% of the time, when the older Major Plus team Plays the younger Major Plus teams.) Again, WHAT IS FAIR? MURPHY'S LAW............. QUESTION? Would teams play down or Sand Bag, if, their were no ring to WIN?? Major Plus teams should play 4 RINGS. Major teams, should play, 4 Watches, or .... AAA teams, should play 4 ......, not rings. AA teams, should play 4 ........, not rings. As is, the win' of a RING in AA, AAA, & MAJOR, is a joke. (Will teams Sand Bag, spend $ 600 to win a Metal??) The same is true, when there is a World's & is only 1 team in a division...... Have a great Sunday....... The STONEMAN |
