Just a question maybe someone can help me on. The National Senior Softball Summit rates a team as of June of 2004, Why is it when we go to the next couple of tournaments they are still playing down? Is it up to the TD to make sure they are playing in the right group? I saw it the ISF tourney and last weekend in the ISA World.

Don, Maybe its because the ratings aren't final. It look like SPA hasn't posted their ratings for most of the age divisions. (It look like the 50's and 70's are online.) I would think that a TD would look at the ratings and classify accordingly.
Good luck.

Hi JAH#4 , do you know the results of the 50's Major and 50 AAA divisions in the ISA worlds past weekend?? if you dont is there anyone out there that can post the top 3 or four finishers in each division, the softball world would like to know the results or at least I would, Thanks, Rabbit.

as far as the ratings, I can see no changes in the SPA site, except they have the wrong city name by the team names and you are right the directors never look at them i dont think, we are going to a tourney this weekend, where there is not suppose to be any major teams, and our first two games are againest, Schones Chrio out of Ohio and Tennesse legends both rated major,go figure, doesnt matter to me,we will play anyone, but dont tell everyone you are not letting in higher rated teams and then let them in .Rabbit, Indiana Classics 50 AAA

The USSSA policy has always been that teams must enter through their state director. The state director then enters the team under the classification that he has established for them. This, in my opnion, can leave a TD hanging out there if the state director has not followed the rating system.
