gary,
I think that I could consider that a compliment....
As for stoneman, I 've met him more than once on a ball field, he's a vg player and person, in person. Here seems to be another thing. Maybe it's a macho thing, I don't know. Nor do I care.
All I do, do is try to maintain some relatively stable communication between guys every where I tinininatbulate, to get some oral indadigitation (sp) brewing.
If he feels threatened, damn if I knw why. He shouldn't.
He has my email addy & phone number, I have his unless it's changed, mine hasn't.
If he's readin, I'm not going to ask him not to reply as he's done, all post are up for grabs, that's the way it's been.

But really, if your not playing senior tournaments, you have bo reason let alone right to talk down the bats that are used there. League play is a totally different game even if it's an outlaw league.
I played in two of them until 4 months ago. Kids were still are using anything out there.

taits, my only point to the bats is that they are not necessary. Why do Seniors need their own special bats? Utrip bats are not lively enough?

Now as long as Senior bats are legal then by all means use them. But the guys who boast about their hitting accomplishments when using them I question. Again, it is like dunking with a trampoline. So what?

TNG,
Utrip's are good, I don't think anyone said otherwise. Call 'em just like t-ball, little league bats, etc, they have their own as well.

I know you meant well, but that was a very poor analogy.
