| July 22 BruceinGa Men's 70 3233 posts | I will be 55 this year so I am playing with a 55+ team. It was a tough decision not to play with a 50+ team and to move up to 55+. Who here are playing in a younger age division and why. Is it because you want to play with friends, you like the skill level of the younger players, or what? |
| July 22 crusher Men's 75 524 posts | BruceinGa, hello. I played down the last two years with a 55 team, Tulsa Legends. We finished 2nd in the SPA nationals both years and it was fun. I play down because I love to play softball. I do not care if the opponet is major, AAA or AA. C. |
| July 23 TexasTransplant Men's 70 516 posts | I've played down for a year both times I've been eligible to move up. I just thought the game was a little faster and perferred to stay with it. That being said, I've picked up with a 60 team a couple weeks ago because my 55 team wasn't playing, a didn't notice a lot of difference. |
| Aug. 12 jah#4 Men's 70 576 posts | Bruce I have talked to several Players that was going to play down after Plano tourney Many play in the 55 division, they said better ball was being play now in the 50's and more teams to play. I do know some 65's that play down to the 60's beause of the lack of teams. With your skill level to could play in the 50' till you get 65. all you do is stand at 1st base catch a few balls and than go hit and ask for a runner if you don't hit it out.
