Maybe less Worlds, Championship T's, but something to give real meaning for team & it's players that win their right of choice to buy his ring....
Seems as though most tournaments are named one of those, not to leave out Regionals, Qualifiers and more, which different awards that are actually given out.
Would a reduction in tournaments happen, I doubt it, the balance sheet, comes into play.

But for the smaller assn's like the one in nor cal for seniors, NCSSA, they restrict tournament postings to those who have board connections or city park connections. Even if they don't follow the rules set forth for them. They keep new areas from posting. Same places every weekend from end of Feb to Mid Nov. Not that is all bad, cause it isn't, but having new teams to play might be a nice change.

Your right it will never happen. Every Assoc wants to protect their own tournaments.

Most of the teams that I know off or are associated with are kind of limited to 4 or 5 tournaments a year for lack of money to attend more.

Though I do know of 1 team in my area that scheduled 16 tournaments last year but they had a big sponsor and a large roster.
