| Jan. 30 bashbro1 Men's 70 267 posts | For the past (10) or so years the Seattle Mariners baseball club has provided us fans with a fan fun day @ the ball park. We get to do things like go inside the locker rooms and sit in Ichiro’s dressing area, hit off a batting tee to center field, play catch in the outfield, run the bases, and pitch off the mounds in the bullpens with a radar gun estimating your pitch velocity. Basically, with have the run of the place for an entire day. More than 10,000 fans attended the event along with Jenni Hogan of local TV station KOMO4 who was there promoting the event for her TV network. Jenni is also a very huge fan supported of Senior Softball in the Seattle area and will be bringing out a film crew to some of our local senior softball games. Jenni was born in Australia and attended the UofW here in Seattle and was the captain of the 2-time Women’s Crew Team in early 2000 time frame. She did interview with a postion with Softball 360 a few years back. I do have a very short slide show of my brother and I (bashbro1 & bashbro2) along with Jenni playing with all the “kids” @ Safeco during the event.
