This is an early notice and invitation to come play some Senior Softball with us in Missoula Montana. The weekend of June 28-29, we are hosting the Montana Senior Olympic Softball Tournament. This tournament is a National Qualifier for the 2009 games in the San Francisco Bay area. The tournament is a 5 game guarantee. We will have shirts, hats, team photos available, as well as gold, silver, and bronze medals for each age division. We also have bread and fruit baskets in the dugouts for each game. It is a great time and Missoula is a beautiful place to visit. For more info please check our website @ www.teamgeritolsoftball.com. or all Mike at 406-239-2717. Thanks much.

You might add assn affiliated with, so rules can be checked on, as well as bats that will be allowed. As in who's qualifier.
I believe SF manned composites, and even some double walls years ago. But with a lot more cities getting into the "Olympic Senior Game" thing, who knows.

The reference to SF was for SF proper, not the outlying areas.
Will there be or is one available now, a web site for players wanting a team or teams needing players to play there like the Huntsman web site has...

taits, thanks much for your response and questions. I am still checking into the association affiliation question. I will post what I find out re: the National Tournament. As for the tournament in Missoula, we have in the past abided by the ASA approved bat list. If, we learn that the National Tournament folks want us to do otherwise, we will certainly abide by their wishes.

Thank you for the question/suggestion re: a "team finder" option on our website. Great idea. We will post a link on our www.teamgeritolsoftball.com. website. It should be on there in the next week. Take care.

Are you adding a little nip of gin with the Geritol? Just to keep those juices flowing in the joints and all of course.

a little nip of gin and some of that Wintercrest they sell at the Huntsmans Games in St. George. We have so much snow here now, that the season seems a long ways away. It is good to talk softball. Keeps you optomistic.
