| Aug. 30 Lynda 3 posts | I know teams are finishing up the 2004 season, but please jot my name and number down for 2005 try outs. Would like a team now to practice with.I live 45 miles NW of Houston and will travel 75 miles to practice. | Sept. 14 Lynda 3 posts | Thanks to all those who were interested in picking me up for the 2004 fall tournaments. I played with the Kansas Classics in the Arkansas Worlds last week-end. They are a terrific team and placed 4th in the 50-54's. With limited play I managed to drive in a pair - but ladies...my body was screaming "You ain't ready yet!" I'm coming from an extended illness knowing I have an old ACL to rehab again. Now I've got the entire body to rehab. Well, not really, but I do need to get back to plan A, which is to take the remainder of '04 and get myself into shape for '05. I have found a team near by to practice with. I'm still seeking a South or Southeast Senior Texas team to join and play the regular season next year, For those of you who asked me to play in tournaments...once my lower extremities are working like legs rather than egg beaters - I'm game for 2005! |
