By now most of the teams should have a good idea which tournaments they are planning to play in. This effort is an attempt to try to let other teams know which teams are planning to go to which tournaments. We are a Major Plus team so I would suggest that this thread be used for Major Plus teams to post their tentative schedule but I would invite Major, AAA and AA to start their own threads if they feel this is a good idea.

Obviously nobody can guarantee their team will attend each tournament due to injuries that may occur and other important family conflicts that may arise. The purpose of this thread is to try to determine where a number of teams may be playing in order to guage whether spending money on flights and hotels is worthwhile. Therefore please take the time to input your schedules. Please also include your name, team name and classification at the bottom. Thanks.

Bob, I'm sure you would want us to play everywhere Travelodge 55's are, especially after the WHOOPING you put on us at the TOC! :)
Anyway, here's our schedule:
SSUSA Spring Nationals
Tulsa
Las Vegas
Phoenix
SSUSA Winternational, Ft Meyers
I wish we would include the ISA, NSA, ASA and USSSA Nationals but the decision was made not to participate in these.

Bruce,

I wouldn't say we put a whooping on you. We had a couple good days. However, we consider you to be the team to beat so we would like to see you at more of the tournaments in which we plan to play. I think the hope is that we all have good competition at the tournaments in which we participate. The ASA in NC isn't that far for you. We hope you add it. We look forward to our rematch.

Bob, I commend your publishing your schedule. Hopefully others will follow as well. We really want to play the best and have the most participation in every event. Out 55 major plus team is only playing 6 nationals as the team voted not to travel as much this year. The guys were pretty well worn out last year playing in about 9 national tournaments. Plus it is hard to get everybody on the same page with a bunch of tournaments and several times last year we ran out of gas with too few players. Most of us also play once a month in the Florida Half Century which is a state wide league and since Florida is spread out that creates a lot of traveling.

The team voted to play in Vegas the same week that the ASA is in North Carolina. Humm, Vegas or Burlington? Ultras or ASA bats? However, we look forward to playing the ToC champions in Tulsa and Phoenix!

Audie,
Thanks for responding. Obviously, so far your team is the only one to post besides us. I understand your team wanting to use Mikens but I heard half the fields in Vegas are under construction. Also, we never felt the LVSSA was very orgainized as far as running the tournament and keeping the games on time. Just our reason why we chose the ASA over LVSSA. What about the ISA in St. Louis? Any reason beyond sheer numbers of tournaments?

Bob, interesting thoughts on the Vegas problems. I'll have to check as some flights might have already been purchased. I know we have already made motel reservations. Not sure about the ISA in St Louis. Last year we took the 50 team to that.

Honestly, Jim Truncel and I, who sponsor the team, were open to playing 9 tournaments. Three or four of our skilled players could not make but six so that is what we ended up with.

I hope Sportsplex from the northeast will post as they are an excellent team and we have had some great games with those "damn Yankees"! :)

Audie,
I'm from the Chicago area. What does that make me? I could say more but a wise past president from our state once sais "it is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt." So I will not say more.
