March 27 SSUSA Staff 3505 posts | The Winter Nationals and Winter Worlds Champions will continue to be invited to the TOC in the future. The winners from 2007 were previously invited to the 2008 TOC, despite having the opportunity to use "next year's 2008 roster". The January 2009 TOC will be comprised of teams that have 2008 rosters and won qualifying events up to and including the World Championships in Phoenix. The Winter Nationals and Winter Worlds champions from November 2008 will be invited to the 2010 TOC, using those 2009 rosters. This change (actually a transition) maintains consistency in roster composition for all of the participating teams. As for participation in these events, the 2007 Winter Nationals drew 154 teams and the Winter Worlds drew 119 teams. |
