May 15, 2008 bigred3 38 posts	Can't find a team I'd heard if I posted on this site I would get a chance to play softball again. It hasn't worked so far. I have posted twice in two years and no takers. I have played for over 30 years. I am 51 and in excellant condition. I am left handed and play outfield or first. I live in Bakersfield California but I am willing to travel. I am retired so travel for leagues or tourneys is not a problem. I am also willing to try out. Any interest would be appreciated. Thank you

You may wish to include some information on how to contact you, like an email address or a phone number. Lots of coaches read this board, but most probably aren't anxious to recruit openly here. Maybe if they had a way to get in touch with you and talk privately, it will work out for you. Good luck.
May 16, 2008 taits Men's 65 3999 posts	I know that some guys play in your area have bp on Fridays there but I do not know where. There is a senior league in Tulare on Thurs nites at Prosperity park, west of hwy 99 about 2.5 miles on same named street, (good park) League is about done for this session, but I know but will start up again. Not sure if it is for 50+ or 55+ however. Call this guy Rich Miotta 559.732-2345 Ours here in Fresno is 50,+ 58+ (mon tus, wed) and another I work with (thurs only) where we use 47\525 balls and all BPF 1.20 bats.
