What a great move. Solves the crazy bat eligibility problem and nobody gets hurt except the manufacturers who are sucking the life from softball. All you summit experts should start a wood bat division.

You got your wish... I just wonder about two things, If softball bats are longer than 34" then they would be ruled illegal, according to the book. And two, you still have the Bonds thing, corked bats, to worry about.
Not all "wood" bats are equal either. Do some research you will see. and I am not referring to the actual type (hickory, maple,etc) either.
Good thought though if not within your area as posted by SSUSA staff.
