July 14 4x4 Men's 65 601 posts | Salt Lake City Fields ??? Info ? Can anyone tell us what the fields are like in SLC? Are we going to be stuck with artificial surfaces again? Reno was pretty but we got lucky temperature wise for Rockin' Reno. The forecast is mid to high 90's for the upcoming tourney in SLC. Personally, I prefer tne "natural" surfaces that you can slide, dive on without risk of injury as much as the phony grass ones with the pavement underneath and it can change your style of play, or worse, alter it increasing the prospect of injury. The impact is easier with a natural surface to give way. It's been a month and some guys are still carrying the rug burns and resulting infections. Pete 13 - Paradise Chev |

July 16 4x4 Men's 65 601 posts | Salt Lake City Fields ??? Info ? Monte - At the last minute I decided to fly out instead of drive ......... I KNEW I should have driven = I could have brought my own shade (and cooler)! I'll just have to stand around some of the big guys and use them for shade. Thanks for the update on the fields and traffic. 320 will do just fine. You umping only or with W55's? Cya there Pete |
