| Aug. 9 einstein Men's 50 3112 posts | Miken's new Super Freak Hey guys and gals, I got a chance to hit Miken's new Super Freak and pass it around to a couple of my friends and the verdict is in. The bat is fabulous. It's the original Freak with an ounce load in the head, an end-loaded Freak if you will, so it's stiff but good at the beginning and gets better with every swing and at the end will hit like an Ultra 2. An end loaded Ultra 2? Somebody stop me! I'll take 2. And the best news is that it gets noticeably hotter with every swing up into the hundreds of swings. My original Freak got over 1000 swings with every kind of batting practice balls before it got real hot. I have no financial relationship with Mike Kelly or Miken. I like passing along solid information about any product out there that I know/believe is good especially a bat that feels and hits as good as the Super Freak.
