Following is statement from Terry H
regarding Gary 19 who is in fact Dirty/Gary 19/Gary Sommers from Ohio
and notice it says that his privileges have been ABOLISHED.
It is my understanding that Terry has never rescinded this ban
and rightly so as we have seen NUMEROUS entries from Dirty
that demonstrate cynicism and disparaging intent.

Notice the definition of abolish I just looked up:
abol·ish (ə bäl′is̸h)
transitive verb
to do away with COMPLETELY;
put an END to; esp.,
to make (a law, etc.) NULL and VOID

As I get it this guy, Gary19, Dirty, Gary Sommers from Ohio
are one and the same and
is still abolished and all his threads
should be and remain removed.
If he comes back again without honor as he did before
using some other name
than upon rediscovery his fundamental and well deserved abolition should follow.
N'est-ce pas?

Terry,
Please respond and help me clear up this confusion.

"Today, for the first time since the Senior Softball Message Board was established 10 years ago, we are banning a person from further postings.

It is with a great deal of personal saddness that I ordered this move because I firmly believe that freedom of speech needs a great deal of latitude -- and very few restrictions -- to accomplish the goal of enabling a robust flow of ideas.

However, in this case one person has managed to disrupt the flow of ideas with more than 700 posts that have been peppered on most of the message threads. A number of these posts have been abusive, and many have only been written to incite personal tirades.

Therefore, all of the postings of Gary19 are being, or have been, deleted. His access to the Message Board has been abolished. As a result, some of the message threads will have gaps. We apologize for any inconvenience to other people posting messages.

This message though intended for Terry specifically
also is meant for any and all of us who have been affected by Gary Sommers
both directly and indirectly.
The sheer volume of time and energy spent dealing with him
is by itself inordinate and counter productive.
Meaningful regulation and it's need are beginning to be seen again in our society
as what has been missing all along. (Think threatening economic collapse)
"Nothing is really ever for free when significant consequences are generated
that affect others, is it Terry."

We all can help Terry and Dave going forward on many issues
that relate to us so
what do others think and feel should be done?
What has happened and what should happen going forward?
