DRAFT Game Schedules and Brackets for the 2008 Winter National Championships in Ft. Myers, FL, have been posted and are available from the links on the Home Page ... As always, these TENTATIVE schedules are subject to change and become final ONLY when released as "Official" at the Manager's meeting the evening before play commences ... The Participating Teams List and Master Games & Fields Grid has also been posted ... Good luck to all!

Thanks Dave. I see that you have the Raptors playing two games at 8:00am in the 60 M+. I guess we'll have to pick up a couple more players to have 10 on each field. :)

There have been numerous changes to many of the Divisions since the initial DRAFT versions were posted. Please ensure that you have checked the schedules carefully. NOTE - The ONLY "official" schedules are the ones that are distributed at the Managers' meetings the evening before play commences for your Session.

EDITING NOTES -

• MEN'S 65's and 70's -

Changes were made to accomodate the late entry of one team and other schedule modifications were required by ratings decisions that became effective after the end of the World Championships. Please RE-CHECK the online versions as of Saturday, November 8th.

• WOMEN'S DIVISIONS -

A previous Round Robin game change for Saturday was in error, and has been reverted to it's initial match-up. That error was solely mine, and has been rectified.

• MEN'S 50-MAJOR and 50-MAJOR+ -

These two divisions will play their Saturday (only) games at the Veteran's Park Softball Complex in Naples. This facility is approximately 3 miles from the N. Collier Regional Park Sports Complex. All other Session #2 Major and Major+ teams will play ALL of their games at N. Collier. A preliminary game schedule erroneously had other divisions also playing at Veterans Park on Friday.

• MEN'S 60-MAJOR+

Reluctantly (I think they're good enough to pull this off) fixed the "Split Squad" game at 8:00 AM on Friday for the Miken Raptors of Florida.

• MEN'S 60-MAJOR and 60-AAA

There have been multiple versions of the 60-AAA schedule. The online version now is the most likely to be 'final' on Thursday evening. Changes were made due to the admission of a late entry and the removal of another team from the 60-AAA to the 60-Major group (from where they withdrew).

• LATE START REQUESTS -

All known 'late start' requests that were made prior to the DRAFT schedules being released have been accommodated to the best degree possible. Requests that were made after release of the draft schedules were not granted.

Good luck to all!

REVISION - MEN'S 70/75/80 - Changes made last week to the Session #1 schedules did NOT include the fixes to the 70/75/80 Division Round Robin on Tuesday. The changes have been posted. Please re-check the online version if you have the chance. Tournament Director will have revisions for distribution at the Manager's Meeting this evening.
