Wow! Way past a month late and no scores posted for Ft.Myers. Pretty sad. Wish we could be this late with paying for tournaments.

I'm sorry SSUSA staff. You have to get the scores posted in 2 weeks max. In my job, if you don't have your work done, you don't go to conventions. Get on the ball. ISSA and SPA do a way better job of that.

Ohio Wheels let's assume that the convention was held in Florida because quite possibly Florida is the hotbed of softball and that would be the place where their business of providing softball tournaments and making equipment arrangements etc etc is better served in Florida. Something on the order of say a McDonalds Fry cook having their French Fry convention in say Idaho. Have you ever attended that fry convention if not something to behold.

Florida, the hotbead of softball? Nice try, but no one is buying it. Waste of our money.

Guys/girls - Yes we should have had the results by now.

But - why all the chirping and cheap shots?

In less than 30 days there's a major tourney (TOC) taking place down there which would involve a lot of planning to make it run smoothly. No doubt there's some hands on needed. Also planning for 2009 involving multiple sites/venues scattered around the country. During the Winter Worlds the TD we had was from from Florida so there are geographical concerns "team" wise. I'd say it was more of a working holiday with Thanksgiving also taking place.

Geez - we were all thankful then (Thanksgiving) but acting like ingrates now????? It was a pretty good season. I'd say they're entitled to bring it to a conclusion in whatever business fashion they deem acceptable. Every business has exit/planning and stategy sessions/meetings.

Dbax - once we've paid it's no longer "our" money. We no longer "own" it.

I don't buy it. If I had the results in front of me I could fill in the files and upload them in 1-1 1/2 hours. I have even offered to do it for them, but they're not interested.

For some of you hot shots. If, you do not like the way things are going, why not try the following?
1) Start ones own Assocation
2) Become a SS-USA player rep
3) Keep raging about the small items
4) Do nothing
5) Wait awhile
6) Make helpful suggestions; try not to tear down

In a few days or weeks, SS-USA, will post some of SS-USA'S, results from this past weekend.

One major change will be, that each "area section" or T.D., will be able to go on line & post the scores. This has been in the works for sometime.

One of the NEW items that cost..... is to up grage SS-USA'S message board, so, that "area T.D.'s" will now be able to to post score much faster. What does this mean? T.D.'s, will not have to call in scores to Sacramento, any more.

"Give me a break? & I don't buy it!"

THJ,
So who are all the existing player reps? You seem to be in "the loop" as it were. Are they to change every year or what? I wasn't aware they (SSUSA) had any.
I know NCSSA has some.
As for the TD's ability to post scores, that is a plus, providing they take the time to do it after it's over or as the tourney moves forwward.

Taits: To the left on this page, is the work SUMMIT. Click on the word SUMMIT. When the next page comes up, scroll down.
On the left side of that page is the words Advisory Board. Under this heading is the underline word Members. Click on the word Members.

Not sure how long can be on that Advisory Board. If, I stand correct, all one needs to do is to ask SS-USA, & SS-USA, may or will place one on the A.B.

THi-J,
Thanks. I now remember seeing it and reading the list about a year ago.

A Rep title is one thing I have found that usually has no teeth. But could be of great use. .02
But that's another subject,

Thank you for the where is.
