Dec. 24 SSUSA Staff 3505 posts | The Health & Safety Institute (Portland, OR) has provided the SSUSA with a link to a very short (1 min.) Video Demo on CPR for first-response assistance to victims of sudden cardiac arrest. (The link is available from the Home Page.) HSI is the official supplier to SSUSA for the AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) equipment present at all SSUSA-run tournament playing sites. This video is a "must see" for all members of the Senior Softball community. If you or your team are interested in owning an AED, please contact the SSUSA office at (916) 326-5303 for a referral to HSI. They are very competitive price-wise and are a pleasure to work with. |

Jan. 2 einstein Men's 50 3112 posts | Hey Staff, Fran and Dave. Way to go. This is very useful, important stuff for us to hear and see. Keep it up. |
Jan. 4 4x4 Men's 65 601 posts | SSUSA - Thank you for some very valuable information...... Guys - the 3 intials here are AED - (not ASA - WMD or any other fictional 3 letter function). We should all be thankful for it and the commitment to our well being by this organization. It's unfortunate that some gnat like Dirty/Gary/Replant/TNG gets so much attention. Heck - even Docwear's legendary attacks on Jelly Donuts got more hits.................. |
