Jan. 6 taits Men's 65 4548 posts | Miken ultra II advanced I think there are only a few bats not ok. Titaniums many were made in the mid 90's, Miken Ultra (Grey one) Rip-It Elite (Yellow one, has no stamps) I believe there is a Blue Combat B-1 they made without stamps as well, I have seen one that was taken out of a tournament a year ago or so. They made some with stamps and a w\o. Most had the stamps. If they have the 1.20 BPF on them your good to go. |
Jan. 6 Mac21 Men's 65 38 posts | Miken ultra II advanced With shipping it's gonna cost you $159. Unless you're in love with the knob on the Advanced and that's the reason your buying it..I'd advise you to go the extra $20 and get the original Ultra ll for $179 (free shipping) from kellysultimatesports.com The performance of the original is superior to the advanced. |
Jan. 6 shortly50 Men's 50 41 posts | Miken ultra II advanced I live in CA. so I have to pay taxes at Kelly's so it's a wash & I can get the Ultra 2 there for $179 also |
Jan. 6 BruceinGa Men's 70 3233 posts | Miken ultra II advanced Taits, since you brought it up, add the Powerhouse Team Players Model as well as the Toloso Maximus to the nonapproved list. |
Jan. 6 taits Men's 65 4548 posts | Miken ultra II advanced Bruce, I only posed those because of the approved part. Haven't seen a Powerhouse bat in awhile, had one years ago but not familiar with the one you mention. Will check into it for my own info. Thanks & Happy New Year. |
Jan. 6 BruceinGa Men's 70 3233 posts | Miken ultra II advanced I won a Powerhouse Team Players Model at a Get Together that was hosted by Troy Brumblow and myself, in 2001, I think. The bat had what appeared to have the right stamps, kind of, ASA Approved (American Sports Assoc) and BFP 1.20 (instead of BPF 1.20. It was hottoer than his Ozone and Ozone 2 but not nearly as hot as our senior bats. |
Jan. 6 taits Men's 65 4548 posts | Miken ultra II advanced Tried to find info and couldn't but found the Toloso on their web site. sewem to recall them after seeing the pics. I had the top 2 ti's shown and dented both in a short time. Traded them both off later. couldn't find a TPS ti during that time. Ti's were legal where I am at the time, until I hit a pitcher using one. They were outlawed the same week by the city. |
Jan. 7 santo Men's 55 41 posts | Miken ultra II advanced Shortly 50, I bought the advanced when it came out and ended up giving it away because of the handle. Before you buy, I suggest you swing one first. I could never feel comfortable with that damn handle.... |
Jan. 7 shortly50 Men's 50 41 posts | Miken ultra II advanced Santo, Thanks for the heads up but I love the knob because I grip the bat almost like a golf club, gives me more control. |
