Everyone look at this statement

I agree with Einstein up to the last 3 words "fun and accepted"

“Everyone wants to be able to hit the ball hard and watch/feel it go fast and hard somewhere and if someone puts in a ball which won't do that then it won't be fun or accepted.”

This is true up to the last 3 words "fun and accepted"

We won't like the dead balls and we will continue to complain about them.

However, we know we will still come to play because the game is fun and the friends we've made make it so...

Maybe replace those 3 with "as much fun or widely excepted"

I played against him years ago (10) many times in the past (in another CA assn.) and he surely does put his heart into the game and a tough out to get.

As for wandering around in posts verbally, I think we all do it on occasion, I do, but so what, it's an age thing :>Q, there are worse posts, imo, even although maybe not your most politically correct phrase as I think the term is now.

While I can only speak of my own personal expieriences, I would have to agree with Einstein on this one. If you have played the past several years in Manassas, you would know that the balls were dead and the attendance in these tournaments was getting lower each year. After the tournament in Salem last year, in which they used the Baden/Lexum 44/375, players and teams all swore that they would not come back. Then the TD's decided to use a better ball, the Dudley Thunder Advance in the next tournament, and players liked the change. Now this year they have decided to use the Senior bats, along with the Dudley's and we are all hoping for a good turn out.

How's it goin? The weather has been nice the past few weekends. went out and took some cuts. with the temp being under 60 degrees used old allum bats. It was fun hitting with them. Swing the old howard bat was like swinging a fence pole. These lighter bats have spoiled me.
Have you hook onto a team yet?
