Brackets and results
I would just like to make a comment about this years SSUSA web site. I doubt if I am the only one wondering why we can not get the brackets before the tournaments, or the results of the tournaments after they have been completed. In years past you could come to this site and get all of the information you needed as to who would be at the tournament, locations, and after the fact who won. It would be real nice to see this again. Unless I am just missing it, but I have looked, I know I am getting old, but not yet senile. I HOPE.

I'D LIKE TO PUT MY 2 CENTS WORTH IN ALSO. 2 HOURS AGO I ASKED WHERE THE 6O MAJOR PLUS TEAMS WERE GOING THIS YEAR, SO WE [GSF] COULD SOLIDIFY OUR SCHEDULE.....WELL THAT LASTED ABOUT AN HOUR. I PUT OUR SCHEDULE ON THIS MESSAGE BOARD WITH THE MAJORITY BEING SSUSA TOURNAMENTS. THIS MESSAGE BOARD PRINTS UP ALL THE GARBAGE AND RAMBLINGS OF A FEW PLAYERS THAT HAVE NOTHING TO DO BUT RIP ON RULES, OTHER PLAYERS, SPONSORS, SUPPLIERS ETC. ALL I WANTED WAS TO SEE WHERE WE COULD ALL GO TO A TOURNAMENT FOR THE BETTERMENT OF SENIOR SOFTBALL. MY POST WAS DELETED

Game schedules and bracket results are available on this site for all current (2009) season tournaments administered by the SSUSA home office. Those events are the ones listed on the master Tournaments Page in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS. Previously, these items were accessible from links on the Home Page only, but now have been moved to the individual 'Dates & Details' tab for each tournament. They are currently available for the 2008 Winter Nationals and Winter Worlds and the 2009 TOC.

Other events not administered by the SSUSA home office, such as last week's Gold Glove event, are scheduled by the independent tournament directors, and score reporting is sent to SSUSA after the event for entry into the team performance database.

The new web site is still undergoing a lot of behind the scenes enhancement, and this type of information being accessible to the membership is a future implementation goal.

To view how good a softball web site can be check out policesoftball.com. You can even post pics on the message board.
However, this would probably be a bad idea with some of the morons who post here.
