Gentlemen
This past weekend I met up with the Stoneman, Heck of a nice guy. He brought some of the Trump 52 core balls for me to hit in BP this past weekend.
I also met Einstein another good guy. Both these guys can play this game and hit the S--T out of the ball. It nice to have a face with the name.
Now here's my 2 cent on the 52 core ball. I'll hit a home run now and then, mostly a line drives hitter. I hit 10 ball used by SS-USA in Reno last year. The furthest hit about 280 with my MM combat then hit the 52 core. My furthest ball went about 305.
Bottom line if you know how to hit then this ball will not change the balance of the game. It reminded me of the poly core ball in the 90s. This ball will not allow a cheap homerun. High fly balls stay in the yard. However for me a line drive hit well will travel out the park. Use either ball, I liked them both. I'm not a pitcher so can't say it won't hurt to get hit by one, but due to the compression injuries will be limited.
Great season to all that play.
