BEFORE YOU GO CASTING STONES AT OTHER TEAMS, MAYBE YOU SHOULD ASK QUESTIONS LIKE:
1) WHY ARE MAJOR TEAMS PLAYING AGAINST AA & AAA TEAMS?
2) THE INJURIES SUTAINED BY THE PLAYERS WERE TOO SEVERE TO CONTINUE?
3) PLUS, THEY SPENT A MUCH MONEY TRAVELING AS THE OTHER TEAMS?!
WE ALL LIKE TO HAVE FUN, BUT REMEMBER MOST OF US HAVE TO GO TO WORK THE NEXT DAY!

George make some good points why a team should bow out of a game. I believe the team should go to the TD and talk before they enter a tourney to see who is playing. Then if the TD combos the tournament after that I can see why a AA would not want to play a Major + team. Most tourney we go to the TD tells us up front if there not enough teams we will combo it in age divisions. I believe we all want to play to have fun and for the followship. Like george I too have to work on mondays.

I agree with you Jah#4, but here are the facts. Check them out Gerogem.
First of all the MOB is a AAA team, always has been. Pop A Stew is AAA and so was Arizona Tile. Golden Gloves and the rest were AA.
AAA plays AA all the time. Check out the Pinetop, Springerville, Prescott or other local Arizona Tourneys.
This Yuma tournament is now and has always been a 50's, 55's, etc. tourney with no distinction as to AAA or AA.
The reason given to us as to why Golden Gloves dropped out was that they didn't want to play Pop-A-Top-Stew. If it was because of injuries, etc. I would understand, but they did show up and win a losers bracket game that morning then told everyone they were not going to stick around for their next game!
And like I mentioned before MOB is not a Major team. Maybe someday we will win a World and move on up!
